This is a follow up to my PRK surgery video. I try to answer most questions that have been asked of me since the procedure. I discuss the results, the surgery itself, recovery, and Lasic vs PRK. See procedure video on my channel at www.youtube.com I am not a doctor, just a patient giving you me experience in an honest and unbiast way. Hope you find the info useful.

Although i am only 13, how long did it take for you to see even better than your glasses after the surgery? Or, see the same with glasses?

  5. CivilWarPanda says:

thats 100 percent true about the millitary using prk. you can accually be denied airborne school and other jobs like that if you have lasik because the force of the chute opening can damage the eye like he said.

    how bad was your eyesight?

  19. shadowlesswalls says:

it can’t be too great if you end up in a car accident =P only kidding.. any other type of methods? i want to get this done by both look horrid… one is cutting the thin layer of skin while the other is rubbing against it … a lot in a unprofessional manner( saw a video on youtube of it.. i sure hope it’s the one where u spin that machine thing and remove the layer then laser and thats it… )any extra charge for stigmatism? i just know someone will want to charge more intentionally

  20. MarkandJanna says:

I dont know of any other method. Like any surgery it can give you the creeps but as I keep saying its well worth it. No extra charge for astigmatism. One charge for the procedure.

  25. SawSkooh says:

Thanks for the video. I have to clarify, though, you are confusing the epithelium with the cornea. The membrane removed in PRK is NOT the same thing as the “flap” in LASIK. In PRK they only remove the epithelium, or the thin membrane OVER the cornea. With LASIK they cut the flap INTO the cornea itself, much deeper than the epithelium, and use the laser to remove tissue from the inside of the cornea. The epithelium regrows in days, while the LASIK flap would never regrow if removed.
